Tea Chimera Community Guidelines
Effective Date: June 2, 2026
Tea Chimera is a welcoming community of tea lovers. These guidelines exist to keep The Tea Table — and every other part of our community — a safe, friendly space for everyone. By using the community features (posting, commenting, liking, sharing photos, or interacting with other users), you agree to follow these rules.
Acceptable behavior
- Be kind, respectful, and curious. Disagree without attacking.
- Share recipes, brewing tips, photos, and questions in good faith.
- Credit sources when you share someone else's recipe or photo.
- Use the report tools when you see something that breaks these rules.

The following are strictly prohibited anywhere on Tea Chimera:

- Hate speech — content that demeans people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, or any other protected characteristic.
- Threats or violence — incitement, intimidation, or content that promotes physical harm.

- Illegal content — including but not limited to content that violates law, infringes intellectual property, or promotes illegal activity.
- Spam, scams, or misleading content — including misinformation about health benefits of teas or ingredients.

Reporting process
If you see content or behavior that violates these guidelines, please report it. Every post, reply, and user profile has a Report option in its menu.
- Choose a reason (spam, harassment, hate speech, sexual content, violence, misinformation, other).
- Add details if you'd like to explain further.
- Our moderation team reviews every report within 24 hours and takes appropriate action.
You can also block any user from their profile or from the menu on their post or reply. Blocked users' content will be hidden from your view.
Enforcement actions
When content or accounts break these rules, we may:
- Remove the offending content.
- Temporarily suspend the account (typically 7 days).
- Permanently ban the account.
- Restrict the account's ability to post or comment.
- Report illegal content to relevant authorities where required by law.
We may act on these rules with or without prior warning, depending on severity. Repeat or severe violations result in permanent removal.

If you believe your account or content was actioned in error, contact us at theteachimera@gmail.com and we will review the decision.
Changes to these guidelines
We may update these guidelines from time to time. Significant changes will require you to re-accept them before posting again.
